PROGRESS

For our first project, we were asked to insert audio into a video clip with no sound at all. The scene chosen was from "Munich". 

We are expected to add our own audio in it using sounds we find or record ourselves. First, we were to create a spreadsheet to insert details like what audio to use for each scene. For our first task,

I mostly used freesound for my audios and as for dialogues, I recorded them. 

For the men's voice, I use the pitch shifter effect to help me achieve that lower voice and as for the little girl's voice, I raised the pitch slightly. 

As for other effects, I also added a fade to my audio clips using the exponential fade feature.

REFLECTION

For my first project, I felt it was quite a challenging task, as it required a lot of patience. From the process of picking the suitable audios, to adjusting the volume, to adjusting the time placing of the audio to match with the video clip, all of these take time and now I truly understand how hard is it to work under video editing and respect video editors.  The hardest part of this project was to identify the missing sounds, and also matching the timings of both the audio as well as the video as even a slight difference could impact the video's outcomne.
